"As an experienced cyclist and triathlete I fully understand the importance of a good fit. But after having a pretty in depth fit last year I wasn't sure how much would need changing or what affect it would have when I arranged a fit with Gavin. Boy was I wrong though!!
As expected, the general position I had was already pretty reasonable off the back of last year's fit, but my cleats were way out!! Gavin took me through that adjustment and could instantly feel the difference. We then went on to saddle angle and some tweaks with my levers. Gavin advised to leave it at that for the first few rides but that if those adjustments felt good I should also lower my stem by first one and then two spacers.
From the first ride the cleat and saddle adjustments made a huge difference. My knees were tracking perfectly and it was clear I was putting a lot less pressure through my hands on to the bars which my upper back and shoulders were very grateful for. After a few weeks I made the single spacer adjustment that was suggested and it allowed me to get that little bit lower without compromising comfort.
Would definitely highly recommend a fit with Jumpstart!"
